Motorola Edge 70 Plus 2026: IFA Battery and 200MP Camera
IFA 2026 Edge 70 Plus: bigger battery and 200MP main, lower SoC tier and charge watts than the regular Edge 70. Europe and Middle East first; no price yet.
On 3 September 2026 Motorola used its Berlin IFA 2026 keynote to unveil the Motorola Edge 70 Plus. GSMArena filed the same day. Digital Trends lined the sheet up against the Edge 70 from November 2025. This is a gadget launch, not a meeting-product how-to.
The query is Motorola Edge 70 Plus IFA 2026. The public numbers cluster on a 6,500mAh battery, a 200MP main camera, and a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED. The chip is Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Wired charging is 45W. No price yet. First wave: select Europe and Middle East.
What Motorola showed, what outlets checked
GSMArena also logged a Watch Ultra, a Swarovski Razr 70, and the 25W Qi 2.2 magnetic Snap charger in the same keynote. The Plus itself is quad-curved, in four Pantone finishes: Gray Lilac, Milky Blue, Mountain View, Sage.
Battery and charge

Camera
200MP main with OIS, up to about 10× zoom, 4K. Motorola calls it the highest-resolution sensor it has put in a phone. Dedicated macro plus a 32MP selfie. Digital Trends: 16-to-1 binning, about 12.5MP effective.
Chip and memory
Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 8GB LPDDR5X, 128GB or 256GB. Digital Trends notes the Edge 70 launched on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, so Plus is not a straight performance step-up.
How it differs from the Edge 70
Digital Trends framed the name as an upgrade and the sheet as a trade. Battery and main-camera megapixels go up; charge wattage and SoC tier go down. Gorilla Glass 7i and MIL-STD-810 sit in that Digital Trends check.

Is Plus simply faster than the Edge 70?
Battery and main-camera resolution are higher. Both Digital Trends and GSMArena put the Plus on 7s Gen 3, below the regular 7 Gen 4. Charge drops from 68W to 45W. Pick by use, not the suffix.
Will it sell in the US?
As of 4 September 2026, the public copy lists select Europe and Middle East countries. North America is not in GSMArena’s first-wave line for this Plus.
What does it cost?
Motorola has not announced a price. Outlets say they will update when it lands. Do not treat reader-comment regional tags as MSRP.
